EmpowHer Women Ministries

Roots and Foundations

Our founder, Delia Jenkins was born in Lumberton, North Carolina, to Sylvia Thompson and Bill Smith, Bishop Delia Jenkins’s
life is a testament to the transformative power of faith and dedication. With a Bachelor of Arts from UNC at Pembroke and her
invaluable experience as a kindergarten teacher, she has seamlessly blended her educational background with her divine
calling.

Spiritual Journey and Ministry

• Early Ministry: Served as head adjutant for First Lady Mary A. Wesley.

• Pastoral Calling: Embraced the pastoral call, leading to the founding of EmpowHer Ministries and authoring “21 Days to
EmpowHer.”

Bishop Jenkins’s spiritual journey is marked by her passionate preaching and commitment to deliverance, empowering those
especially women, in dysfunctional situations.

Leadership and Consecration

In 2021, Bishop Jenkins’s spiritual journey reached a significant milestone when she was appointed Bishop Designate by her spiritual
father, Bishop R. Christopher Brown, the Third, of Kingdom Fellowship of Ministries. Her relationship with Bishop Brown and his wife,
Lady Trena Brown, whom she regards as her spiritual mother, has been instrumental in shaping her path in ministry. Their guidance has
provided her with the wisdom and strength to serve faithfully in her calling.

On August 2nd, 2023, Bishop Jenkins was consecrated as the first female Bishop of the Kingdom Fellowship of Ministries, a historic
achievement that underscores her commitment and dedication to God’s work. In this esteemed role, she serves as Bishop Vicar, a
position that not only acknowledges her spiritual leadership and authority but also her responsibility to shepherd the community under
the overarching vision and mentorship of Bishop R. Christopher Brown, the Third, and Lady Trena Brown. This partnership in ministry
exemplifies a shared commitment to the Kingdom’s advancement and the empowerment of believers.

Family Life and Partnership

• Marriage: United in love with Raymond Jenkins since July 15, 2014.

• Family: Blessed with five children and six grandchildren. Together with her husband, Pastor Raymond Jenkins, they co-founded
TORCH Ministries in Lumberton, NC, embodying a shared vision of love, inspiration, and transformation.
